I am a qualified and experienced English Teacher, who taught for 30 years at Millfield School in Somerset. I taught English Language and English Literature from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE, IGCSE, and A Level. I set and marked exam papers for the scholarship exam and other entrance cexams into the school. I was in charge the Common Entrance assessment process. I was also the Oxbridge mentor for pupils in the Sixth Form. I was heavikly involved in the university application priocess, writing hundreds of UCAS references for students. In 2017, I was featured as an "inspiring teacher" in the TES.

I have worked for the past 14 years as a supply teacher in a variety of primary schools throughout Dorset, teaching across the whole primary age range. Prior to that I was a class-based teacher in Bournemouth again teaching across the whole age range.
