Mr Dan W

Qualified English Teacher with 8 years experience teaching in London Secondary Schools. I have consistently been judged an 'outstanding' teacher by Senior Leaders at my school as well as external organisations. Currently available to tutor during the day as well as evenings and Saturday. I have extensive experience of teaching GCSE and A Level with a track record of strong results, particularly for high achieving and students with Special Educational Needs. I have in depth knowledge of: AQA and Edexcel for GCSE Language and Literature; OCR for A Level Literature. In last school role at Finchley Catholic High School (ended July 2020) was responsible for Key Stage 3 English curriculum and intervention, so am experienced in creating sequences of lessons which cater for individual students, especially those who have specific learning needs. Since March 2020 I have done an increasing amount of my teaching via Zoom, but look forward to more face to face tutoring when lockdown ends.
