I am a passionate teacher with experience teaching English, History and Humanities in UK Independent School and International School settings. I qualified as an outstanding teacher with a PGCE from Buckingham University. Prior to this, I read Modern History at Exeter University. I have a kind, patient and fun approach to education and I pride myself on providing engaging and personalised lessons. I have taught English and Humanities to various primary and prep school year groups including 11+ and 13+. I am also an experienced GCSE and A-Level History teacher with a strong track record of results. I am most familiar with the Cambridge, Edexcel and OCR exam boards, however, I would be comfortable tutoring to other exam board specifications. I am trained in teaching students with special needs as well as those for whom English is an additional language. I have also run several enrichment programmes developing skills such as public speaking, debating and persuasive writing.
