I have over 25 years experience as a qualified teacher, working mostly at primary level, although in the last few years I have been working as a supply teacher and have worked in secondary schools also. I have also worked as an exam invigilator for GCSE exams. I have experience of teaching year 6 and being involved in assisting children to work towards SATS, both at KS1 and KS2. Additionally, I have knowledge of various phonics programs, including letters and sounds and Read, Write Inc. and have incorporated both when teaching homeschooled children. I have helped young people who are working towards their GCSE's, in Maths, English and the Sciences and have added qualifications in Functional Skills, which allows me to teach adults Maths and English also. I have supported preparations for entrance exams at 11+ and 13+.
