I am a qualified and experienced teacher of Science and maths. I have previous experience as Head of Department and Vice Principal. I am currently teaching GCSE Biology, chemistry and Combined Science. Experience of teaching all GCSE sciences and A-level biology. PGCE and BSc Hons in Health Science. 22 years of teaching experience in a range of schools, I have marked exam scripts for AQA and have been a visiting moderator for different schools. I have been graded outstanding in six Ofsted visits and recently observed by HMI inspectors. I have SEN experience in previous roles and as a private tutor. Qualified designated school safeguarding leader.

I have worked as a full time science teacher for over fifteen years including both the state and independent sector. I have taught all three sciences in that time with OCR Edexcel and AQA. I specialise in Chemistry and taught A level Chemistry for ten years, including several students that went to Cambridge to study science. In addition I have also taught Key Stage 2 science.
