I have been teaching since 2004 after a fairly long career as a software engineer. I worked as an A level Maths teacher in Spelthorne College and as a Maths and Science Teacher in Herschel Grammar School in Slough. My most recent job was teaching Maths GCSE at Brigidine's School in Windsor. I am now a full-time Maths and Science tutor. My training as a computer scientist was invaluable and I am fortunate to have very strong analytical skills. Each child has the same potential, but each child has a different history, so it is important for me to know how the students mind is working so I can help them to think and communicate more effectively. Because most of my students are A level students and most need a minimum of A*AA to get into their courses of choice I have spent many years developing Maths and Science GCSE and A level Courses in order to get the top grades. We work hard, but we also have fun and enjoy learning, I get on incredibly well with my students and I ensure my students are always ahead of their class so they can gain more from their lessons at school.

Member since 2020 Mr Greg B

I am teacher with 10 years experience. I offer tuition in Maths, Chemistry and Biology up to GCSE O'level and Physics up to A'level. I am currently working for Gloucester Hospital Education Service as a tutor. The pupils I teach are not currently at school for medical reasons and I help them keep up with their school work until they are able to reintegrate or until they sit their exams in June. The pupils I teach have a range of educational needs and over the years I've developed teaching and learning strategies to satisfy these and achieve success. I really enjoy being a tutor because I can see how my students progress both in terms of their academic ability and confidence. I am an examiner for both Maths foundation (Edexcel) and Physics (AQA).
