Dr Andrew H

As way of an introduction, I am a full time teacher with 19 years experience. I have plenty of resources to revisit/consolidate Chemistry topics. I am enthusiastic about Chemistry and care about the pupil experience. I have several approaches for each idea - to find the one that works for the student. I have a eye for detail, but a relaxed and friendly approach to bring confidence to the student. I teach the A level OCR A specification, Edexcel IGCSE and our own version of KS3. I have extensive examination experience, at a senior level. I have also had experience with other exam boards at A level and GCSE/O level, including AQA and CIE. This gives me a sound insight into the needs of the exams to polish examination techniques and responses - which is essential to achieve the top grades.

BA (Hons) Post-Compulsory Education,Anglia Ruskin University (2006). PGCE (post compulsory) Anglia Polytechnique University (2002). PhD University of East Anglia (1996). BSc (Hons) Biochemistry, Birmingham University (1992).
