I am a qualified secondary science teacher and I currently work as Head of Biology at a secondary school in Chorley. I am a Qualified (Ofsted graded outstanding) Science and Maths Teacher, currently teaching at in an Academy in central Manchester. I teach Maths up to A-level across all the major Exam Boards (Edexcel and AQA), and I am an official examiner for Edexcel. I have supervised a number of undergraduate degree dissertations and masters (MSc) projects for Science and Mathematics related subjects and have tutored privately to degree level. I chose to work at secondary key stage because I feel that this is generally the point in people's lives when a lot of wider and holistic learning occurs - and hence the age group that I feel I can make the most difference in. I have experience in teaching and tutoring to a high standard and currently, I am the digital learning leader at my school, so alongside teaching and tutoring, I do research in education to determine what interventions could be effective for students' progress after pandemic learning. Upon an assessment, I will give you feedback and targets we can work on.
