After leaving a career in the Water industry I trained at Durham University as a Science teacher. I am happy to teach Science to KS3 and KS4. I have nearly 20 years teaching experience across all abilities and have learnt that each student has individual learning strengths. It is my role to find the most effective teaching strategies that benefit the individual. Above all, I want students to feel relaxed and unaffraid to try new approaches. I consider a mistake as an opportunity to develop and learn. Ultimately I want to build confidence and understanding by providing a context in which new information can be added to a strong foundation.
