I am currently the Head of Science at a state comprehensive school. I am responsible for the delivery of all science education for KS3, KS4 and KS5. I also have specific responsibility as the leader of the Chemistry Department. My passion is for teaching chemistry and I am fortunate enough to teach the subject at Combined Science, GCSE and 'A' Level. I develop most of my own teaching resources and I am most interested in finding new and ever more effective ways of teaching a subject that I love but understand that many students find extremely challenging. Prior to teaching, I was a senior executive in the publishing industry, specialising in video games, internet, music and film. I also have senior experience in the UK book publishing industry.
