Mrs Linda S

I am a qualified and experienced teacher with many years' experience in both the state and private sectors, currently working as a private tutor, face-to-face and/or via Zoom. I teach English from Primary through Prep and up to GCSE and A Level; also Maths from Primary through to GCSE; and Sociology at GCSE and A Level. All my previous GCSE students have improved their grades by at least one band from school predictions; many have improved by two bands and several have increased by three. I have tutored numerous, successful 11+ and 13+ candidates and can also offer help with school entrance interview skills. Dr Claire E

I am an experienced Geography Teacher, Examiner and former Geography Lecturer (at Bristol University and UWE) who has also published geography-based revision material for Hodder Education and Zig-Zag. I have tutored pupils with a range of different ability levels and academic needs. I offer a bespoke service for every pupil with a range of revision resources, marked model answers and revision timetables. As an examiner for AQA & OCR, I also mark tutee work at the correct, examiner level (which gives tutees a sense of exactly what goals they can achieve).
