Dr Brian M

I am a highly experienced teacher (since 2003) in the Sciences and Mathematics and have delivered consistently good outcomes for students. I have been working as a Head of Science since 2008 and have delivered excellent outcomes for my students during this time. Since 2009 I have successfully tutored numerous students, across the ability range, and have built up a considerable bank of resources to support tutees with every aspect of the subject development. My specialism is A-Level Chemistry (all exam boards, including OCR Salters), but I also have considerable experience tutoring the Sciences and Mathematics at GCSE. I also currently mark A-Level Chemistry examination scripts. I adopt a relaxed style to develop student confidence and deepen levels of understanding.

Mr Duncan A

I am a qualified and experienced Head of Chemistry with 10 years of experience teaching in State and Independent Schools, now tutoring full time. I have many hours of experience working online with students of all abilities some of whom have been stretching for top grades, others who have simply needed a good pass to enable the next stage of their careers. I teach Chemistry at all levels through to GCSE, IGCSE and A level, across all the major Exam Boards. I am an A level Chemistry OCR Senior Examiner. I also support preparations for Oxbridge and have extensive experience coaching students for medical school interviews. My preferred software at the moment is Zoom with Microsoft OneNote as a note-sharing platform but this can be adapted to suit. Before teaching, I worked for 20 years as a Project Leader for Pfizer and GSK designing novel pharmaceutical drugs for a variety of human diseases and am the co-inventor of the HIV drug Maraviroc.
