Our Biology Tutors in West Sussex are all fully-qualified teachers, who also offer their skills as high-quality home tutors. All are subject-specialists, professional, reliable, and are up-to-date with Examination Boards and the current demands of a changing curriculum. Lessons are taught at your home or online and are scheduled at your convenience; whether weekdays, evenings or weekends.
You may find it difficult to assess the quality of an unqualified tutor, that’s why all 18,000+ of our UK tutors are qualified teachers – so you know they are trained, safe, and experienced at teaching your required subject at a high-quality.
With our service, you don’t need to scroll through endless pages of irrelevant tutors. You just fill in a simple form or call us with your requirements and, within 24 hours, we will send you a shortlist of available teachers in your area.
You can be safe in the knowledge that if you are unhappy with your first lesson (this is rare, but we understand that sometimes the fit isn’t quite right), we will not charge you for the lesson and we will find you another high-quality teacher.

I have a joint Hons BSC in Botany and Zoology and a PGCE from the University of Oxford and I have taught A-level Biology since the 1980’s. I have taught virtually all of the exam boards most recently Eduqas but also WJEC, AQA, Edexcel, OCR and IB Biology. I have also taught Human Biology Access courses, BTEC, History, Philosophy and Ethics of Science and the Extended Project. I have my own private website for Biology Revision with more than 2500 questions in 71 assessments. Students can be logged onto this site, take the assessments they need and identify what they need to revise. I have a great deal of experience in helping students with their University applications; helping with careers advice, course choice, writing personal statements, interview practice and BMAT exams. I was Head of a large Biology department at Portsmouth Grammar School. In 1998 I started to work for Harrow School writing the outline for their Easter Revision Course and acting as a tutor, a role I still have.
