Teaches Science, Physics, Chemistry Biology and Maths from Prep and Key Stage 3 through to GCSE and IGCSE; teaches Chemistry and Biology through to A Level across all the major Exam Boards. Teaching experience gained initially at The University of Surrey during PhD studies and includes being Head of Science Access Course at Guildford College; following that has taught at Woking College and George Abbot School. Has been tutoring privately for 5 years, including home schooled students and those who need help to get back into the education system due to anxiety or physical and mental health issues. Recent students have been offered a place at medical college and another has been awarded the "most improved academically" after reaching an average grade of level 7 after being predicted an average grade of 4.

Highly experienced professional Science specialist teacher. I am a qualified Science teacher who only works part time. I enjoy one-to-one a lot more than school work, thanks to excellent results my students produce every year in both GCSE separate Sciences and Biology A levels. I tailor my tutoring according to the specific needs of the students eg exam skills. My previous experience of working as an examiner gives me inside knowledge of exam system and mark schemes which students find very helpful. I have an extensive experience of working with SEN students.

I have significant experience in preparing students for both GCSE and A level exams in Biology focusing on exam technique and memory strategies. I focus on teaching students how to connect key themes and links between topics so that they can access marks on the most challenging questions in exams.
