You can be safe in the knowledge that if you are unhappy with your first lesson (this is rare, but we understand that sometimes the fit isn’t quite right), we will not charge you for the lesson and we will find you another high-quality teacher.
I am a Director of Science, a role I have held for 5 years at a mainstream state secondary school. With 13 years of teaching experience in three very different mixed ability 11-18 schools I have extensive experience. My A-level specialism is chemistry, with my degree being a 2:1 in medicinal chemistry, and I can teach across all of the GCSE subjects at combined science level. I would prefer to only tutor chemistry at triple GCSE level. I currently teach the AQA courses but have previously taught OCR at both GCSE and A-level. I have tutoring experience at GCSE and A-level, all students having brought their grades up to at least an A grade/grade 8. I prefer online tutoring in the current climate and have a whiteboard at home to assist with this. I am currently on maternity leave and am returning to work part-time in January, so will have more opportunities in evenings than if I was in my role full time. My own A-level background is of A grades in seven subjects.
