I have been teaching science since September 1997 in a both state and independent schools. During this time I have held progressive responsibilities ranging from Teacher to Head of Department, allowing me not only to develop my pedagogy but also to develop the direction and ethos of the science department I have worked in. I have taught KS3 and KS4 Biology, Chemistry and Physics and KS5 Chemistry. It is my belief in the unwavering potential of every child, and that all students can and should learn to think scientifically, questioning the world around them and making informed decisions in an increasingly technological society.
