Louise S

PGCE Secondary Science, University of Nottingham (2002). MChem 2:1 (Hons) Chemistry, University of Salford (2001).

Member since 2016 Miss Louise S

Currently in my 19th year of teaching. Have previously been head of department but now focus solely on teaching Chemistry to GCSE and A Level, as I felt having a management role detracted from my love of teaching. Alongside teaching, I have been tutoring for 16 years. I was an A Level examiner for AQA to help understand mark schemes in order to aid my teaching back when I first qualified. I am also a form tutor for year 12 & 13 so I have good knowledge of the UCAS application process.

Subjects: Science, Chemistry, Key Stage 4, A level, GCSE, Key Stage 3

I am familiar with a range of Business Studies specifications including OCR, AQA and Edexcel (including BTEC). I have also been an examiner for OCR at GCSE level for Business Studies. I enjoy teaching business and economics particularly due to the wide range of opportunities to bring real world examples in to the lesson. Maria L

Member since 2016 Mrs Maria L

I have worked in this role-for Primary and Secondary school levels-for the past 3 years as a qualified Teacher in Spanish. Prior to my teaching training in 2016, I taught Spanish to adults and children for about 10 years in Adult Education and after school clubs in Primary schools across the Kingston Borough. In addition, I offered private tuition to all levels including GCSE’s. I consider myself to be an accomplished speaker in both, the English and Spanish languages and I would therefore, welcome the opportunity to use my expertise to help young people to realise their dreams and ambitions to learn a second language. The attached CV provides further detail about how my qualifications and background are a match for your child’s needs; my hands-on experience as a Spanish Teacher will make me an excellent addition to your child's education.
