Currently working as a tutor, I have 30 years experience as a teacher in primary schools. I have taught all primary subjects during this time but my most recent role as Head of Maths at an independent prep school in Surrey meant I mainly focused on teaching Maths to years 5 & 6. I have experience with dyscalculia and additional learning needs. I also have experience of entrance exams for secondary schools having worked in both the state and independent sectors. I lived and worked in Surrey before moving back to West Wales last year. I am a mum to 4 girls (ranging from 16 - 29) who are all very individual and I think this really helps me appreciate each individual child's specific needs.
