Mrs Elisabeth L

I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with 20 years experience of teaching children between 3 - 11 years, across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. I have been a SENCO for 17 years and have lots of experience working with students with a range of additional needs, such as dyslexia, ASD and social, emotional and mental health needs. I am now a full-time private tutor, and tutor home-educated students from the UK and abroad online during the daytime, and I tutor face to face in the evenings. I teach any subject within the primary curriculum. I also offer help with the 11+ and SATs. I am familiar with the 11+ process, having attended grammar school myself, and also through supporting my own daughter, who subsequently passed the entrance exam last year. I am currently tutoring children for the 11+.

Mrs Leigh P

I am a qualified and experienced Primary Teacher, having taught for many years across the Independent and State School Sectors. My most recent role was at Leicester Grammar Junior School where I was Learning Support Teacher for 15 years. I taught all areas of the curriculum to children across KS1 and KS2, either 1:1 or in small groups, as well as whole class teaching. I offer tuition across all ages and Key Stages, and across all core subjects within the new Primary National Curriculum. I provide preparation for 11+ and Independent School Entrance Examinations, Scholarship Exams and KS1 and KS2 SATs. I have significant tutoring experience, especially in English and Maths, and all the children I have taught have made tangible progress. My SEN experience and TESOL qualification inform my teaching. I am a kind, patient tutor with a caring and nurturing attitude towards children, whether they need a little extra help or wish to consolidate and move forward with what they are learning at school.

Miss Sukhjinder B

I have over 16 years experience working within a Primary School setting, 10 of those being as a senior leader with core responsibilities. I have worked in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, my specialism is upper Key Stage 2, in particular Year 6 SATS and 11 plus tuition. Over the years I have built up a profile of tutoring children for the 11plus exams in Birmingham with great success - my clients predominantly want one-to-one quality tuition as opposed to group settings in education centres, which is what I provide. I currently work part-time as a freelance educator and have been employed to boost Year 6 children before their SATS exams ( I have been Year 6 lead for 6 years at my last full time place of work). Working part-time in schools allows me to focus on my private tuition in the afternoons and evenings but still keeps my foot in primary education. I currently tutor a range of ages from reception to Year 6.
